This beautifully structured Bowler Bag can be made in any fabrics of your choosing from Quilt Cotton to Leather. Mix and match textiles to create a bold fashion piece to compliment any wardrobe.

The Nevaeh Bowler comes in two sizes: A handbag that is spacious enough for anything you wish to carry daily and a Commuter Size that is big enough to carry everything you need on a commute or a weekend away.

Features: A wide open zippered top, Top Carry Handles with an optional Adjustable Strap, Interior Zipper Pockets, and Slip Pockets on both sides of the interior to offer you lots of organizational space.

• Handbag (Small): 13” Wide, 10” High, and 6” Deep

• Commuter (Large): 16” Wide, 13” Tall, 9” Deep

MATERIALS NEEDED:

FABRICS AND INTERFACINGS:

• 1 yard (1 ¼ yards for Large) 44” wide Quilting Weight Cotton OR ½ yard (¾ yard for Large) 54” wide Cork or Vinyl/Leather- Main Fabric

• 1 yard (1 ⅓ yards for Large) 44” wide Quilting Weight Cotton- Lining Fabric

• 1 ¼ yard (1 ½ yards for Large) Fusible Pellon SF 101 or a woven shaping Interfacing –Light Interfacing

• ½ yard (¾ yard for Large) Fusible Décor Bond - Pellon 809 Firm Stablizer- Heavy Interfacing

• *NOTE: If you are choosing Cork, Heavy Vinyl or Leather for your Main Fabrics- to reduce bulk it would be ideal to use Light Interfacing on your Main Fabric pieces.

• ½ yard (¾ yard for Large) Fusible Fleece -TP971F-Pellon Fleece Thermolam Plus or 1 yard (1 ½ yards for Large) 20” Pellon FF 77 Fusible Flex Foam

*NOTE: Fusible Fleece is the ideal choice if using a heavy Vinyl or cork and Flex Foam if choosing a Quilting Weight Cotton or a Woven fabric for your Exterior pieces.

HARDWARE:

• 4-1" O-Rings or D Rings

• 2- ½" O-Rings or D Rings- (Optional for Long Carry Strap)

• 2- 1" (1 ½” for Large) Trigger Hooks- (Optional for Long Carry Strap)

• 1- 1” (1 ½” for Large) Slider- (Optional for Long Carry Strap)

ZIPPERS:

• 1- 22” (27” for Large) -size #5 -recommended Zipper- Top Closure

• 1- 9” (11” for Large) Zipper- Interior Pocket

OTHER:

• Coordinating thread

• Removable Fabric Marker (I recommend a Frixion gel pen as it can be removed by pressing with an iron.)

• Microtex (Sharp) Needle 80/12 –Recommended for topstitching through the thicker parts.

• Fabric Glue or Fabric Glue Stick
