Pattern Description:

 

A minimalist bag with maximum style. Livia was designed with the utmost versatility with two great looks on one great bag. Sleek and streamlined with lots of room for everything to take you from the office to the gym, the beach, the market-and everywhere in between.
Cleverly designed to accommodate a bag-making beginner, and for those with experience, this pattern is a fast sew with lots of opportunities to personalize and show your creative side! Perfect for holiday gifts, a quick sewing project and ideal for those who sell at markets! Best of all Livia is Reversible making it twice as nice. Two great looks just flip it inside out and multiply your styling options. Livia features a magnetic snap style flap that works perfectly no matter which side of your bag you decide to show off!

Finished Size:

12” wide and 9” tall, 4” Deep with a 10” or 12” handle drop.

 

Materials Required: 

FABRICS AND INTERFACINGS:

  • ¾” yard 44” wide Quilting Weight Cotton - Main Fabric
  • ¾ yard 44” wide Quilting Weight Cotton -Lining Fabric
  • 2 ¼ yards Fusible Pellon SF 101 or a woven shaping interfacing
  • ½ yard Fusible Fleece -TP971F-Pellon Fleece Thermolam Plus

HARDWARE:

  • 1- ¾” Magnetic Snap

OTHER:

  • Coordinating thread
  •  Removable Fabric Marker (I recommend a Frixion gel pen as it can be removed by pressing with an iron)
  • Microtex (Sharp) Needle 80/12 –Recommended for topstitching through the thicker parts.
