Pattern Description:

The Go Green Project is a smarter way to commit to going a little greener without adding the clutter most reusable shopping bags create in your car, kitchen, or in your shopping cart. 

The Go Green Bags and Pod are a convenient way to have all of the bags you need for an entire shopping trip in compact pod that you will love to use and are easy to shop with too. 

Pattern includes: 

• A Green Bag:
• A reusable green bag pattern that mimics the plastic store bag types that are lightweight and compact. An easy to do pattern that allows you to stitch them up quickly to make as many as you need for your all of shopping trips. 
• Made out of the suggested ripstop nylon fabric makes them a breeze to sew, be much stronger than any plastic store bag so they hold much more. And best of all they won't break! They repeal water and are washable.
• Go Green Pod that includes a Mini Size:

2 Pod sizes that sew up quickly and are the ideal way to store and carry your bags. They take up no space in your cart while shopping. A convenient carabiner clip allows you to clip to your cart.

Bags dispense one at a time, so you can take out what you need, while the others stay neatly packed away.

Easy drawstring top that allows you to easily put them away when you are done using them.

Compact and light so you can store in your glove box, under your seat, or hang by your keys so you never forget your reusable bags again!

The small pod is perfect to pack in your go bag, or purse so you always have a few extra bags organized and handy when needed.

Go Green is also ideal for: Outdoor trips to keep wet items separate from dry, for the farmer's market, on vacation, and so much more. Most of all to never forget your reusable bags again!

 Finished Measurements:

• Reusable Bag measures: 12" wide, 20" tall
• Large Pod measures: 4" wide, 10" tall
• Mini Pod measures: 3 1/2" wide, 7 1/2" tall

Materials Needed:

• LARGE POD-For 6 Go Green Bags and Pod: 5 Yards 100% Nylon (Ripstop) 60" wide. LARGE POD WILL HOLD 5-8 BAGS
• - For a nice contrast you can use 2 1/2 yards each of two contrasting colors.
• MINI POD-For 3 Go Green Bags and Mini Pod: 2 1/2 Yards 100% Nylon (Ripstop) 60" wide. MINI POD WILL HOLD 3-5 BAGS
• - For a nice contrast you can use 1 1/2 yards of main color and 1 yard of a contrasting color.

                      **For each 2 additional Go Green Bags: 1 1/2 yds 100% Nylon (Ripstop) 60" wide.

• 1- Plastic Toggle Spring Stop
• 1- 9" or larger Zipper (MINI- 7")
• 1- 15" long piece 550 Paracord or Bungee Cord.
