The Chevelle Handbag Pattern

The Chevelle Handbag is the ideal take everywhere bag. Designed with a fashion forward silhouette and beautiful contrast accents that allow for endless fabric and textile combos to suit any style. This handbag features a wide-open, fully zippered, structure using internal frames, and a square bottom that allows the handbag to sit upright and stay open for easy access to your content inside.

Toss your wallet plus odds and ends into the spacious interior or use the various storage pockets inside and out to ensure everything has its place.

The Chevelle features a zippered pocket on one side of the exterior and an easy access slip pocket on the other. Two slip pockets on the interior along with a roomy zippered pocket to keep all your things organized. Shoulder length straps allow the bag to be comfortably worn over the shoulder.

The Chevelle handbag is spacious in design and lightweight in feel making it the perfect everyday bag. Best of all if you prefer a low profile, small tote size handbag, for everyday use simply omit the internal frames and you can create the ideal sized carry everywhere tote bag.

• 1 piece 18” x27” Vinyl, Leather, or Cork – Contrast Fabric

• 1 yard 45” Fusible Pellon 809 Decor Interfacing - Heavy Interfacing

• ⅔ yard 20” Fusible Pellon SF 101 – Light Interfacing

• ⅓ yard 45” Fusible Fleece -TP971F-Pellon Fleece Thermolam or ⅔yard 20” Pellon FF 77 Fusible Flex Foam

• 1 Piece 5" x 9" - 72F -Pellon Peltex Two-Sided Fusible Ultra Firm Stabilizer

ZIPPERS:

• 1- 18” #5 Nylon Coil Zipper (single or double pull - your preference) – Top Zipper

• 1- 8” Nylon Coil Zipper- Exterior Zipper Pocket- Exterior Zipper Pocket

• 1- 11” Nylon Coil Zipper- Interior Zipper Pocket

HARDWARE:

• 4- 1” O-rings

• 1- 1 pair of small internal wire frames- (overall length 13” or less)
